USAID Zrda in Georgia, implemented by Chemonics International, is announcing a grant competition for small fruit and vegetable refrigeration facilities in Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Samegrelo, Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and In communities.
The project envisages the establishment of up to 10 small fruit and vegetable refrigeration farms or until the amount allocated for the grant competition expires, depending on the increase requested in the submitted applications for the size of the project subsidy.
The project is open to farmers living in the target communities of these regions who have a tax registration number, or to registered small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to set up a fruit and vegetable refrigeration facility and provide financial and non-financial (labor) co-payments.
Zugdidi: Shamgona, Rukhi, Koki, Chkhoria, Orsantia, Akhali Abastumani, Ganmukhuri, Rike, Darcheli, Anaklia, Tsaishi.
Tsalenjikha: Muzhava, Pakhulani, Lia, Chale, Jvari.
Note: In case the amount allocated for a specific grant competition expires, "Increase" will no longer fund the applications, therefore the application deadline will also change.
